A 22-year-old woman, Oleti Pushpa, was stabbed to death by her live-in partner Sheikh Shamma in Siddhartha Nagar, Andhra Pradesh. Police say Shamma, had recently pressured her into prostitution. When she refused, a violent fight broke out and Pushpa died on the spot due to severe bleeding. Police have registered a case and are searching for the accused who is currently absconding.
