The Andhra Pradesh government has formed a Group of Ministers (GoM) to regulate social media platforms and strengthen digital accountability. Led by key ministers including Nara Lokesh and Vangalapudi Anitha, the panel will review existing laws, study global best practices, and recommend strategies to counter fake news, online abuse, and security threats while protecting freedom of expression.
