Anthropic has announced that it plans to open its first India office in Bengaluru in early 2026. "This expansion will help us serve India’s rapidly growing AI ecosystem and reflects the increasing international demand we’re seeing for Claude," the Google-backed AI startup said. The company also confirmed that Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei will visit India this week.
