India has announced anti-dumping duties on plastic processing machinery imported from China and Taiwan, ranging from 27% to 63% of the CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) value of the goods. These two countries were dumping the machinery in the Indian market at significantly lower prices, harming the domestic industry, an investigation by the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) revealed.
