The Meghalaya government has set up a 10-member Anti-Ragging Committee at Shillong Medical College. Chaired by the Dean, the panel will ensure a ragging-free environment, handle complaints, and enforce discipline on campus and in hostels. It will meet at least once a semester and conduct awareness drives, reaffirming the government’s commitment to student safety.
