Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said he supports peace but warned a future Palestinian state would be "a platform to destroy Israel". Speaking at the White House, he added, "We'll work out a peace with our Palestinian neighbours...[but]..the sovereign power of security...remains in our hands." Referring to October 7 attacks, he said Gaza became "a Hamas state" that "massacred our people".
