Apple removed ICEBlock and other similar US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) tracking apps from its App Store after it was contacted by President Donald Trump's administration. Alphabet's Google also removed similar apps on Thursday for policy violations. The app alerts users about immigration agents in their area, which the Justice Department said could increase assault risk on agents.
