Apple has reportedly urged India to change its income tax law so it's not taxed for the ownership of high-end iPhone machinery it provides to its contract manufacturers. India considers such ownership as a "business connection", making Apple's iPhone profits liable for taxes, Reuters reported. Apple fears the current rules could hamper its future expansion, the report added.
