Apple gets 36% Google search revenue from Safari: Google employee

Google pays Apple 36% of revenue it earns from search advertising made through Safari, Google-parent Alphabet's main economics expert Kevin Murphy mistakenly revealed during a US antitrust trial against Google. Google and Apple had earlier objected to revealing details about their agreement publicly. In 2021, Google reportedly paid Apple around $18 billion to be Safari's default search engine.
