Apple has doubled its top bug bounty award to $2 million (₹17 crore) for "exploit chains that can achieve similar goals as sophisticated mercenary spyware attacks". The reward can rise to $5 million for flaws that bypass Lockdown Mode or are found in beta software. It also expanded bounty categories to include one-click WebKit sandbox escapes and wireless proximity exploits.
