Apple shareholders have voted to keep the tech giant's diversity, equity and inclusion policies during the annual meeting on Tuesday. However, CEO Tim Cook did warn that the legal landscape around diversity issues may force Apple to make changes to the programmes. DEI efforts were incorporated or beefed up by companies starting in 2020 amid the Black Lives Matter movement.
