Apple sent threat notifications to Iranian iPhone users in the first half of 2025, warning them that their devices had been targeted with government spyware attacks, according to Mian Group's researchers. The attacks occurred following the Iran-Israel conflict. Among those who received the alerts were two people in Iran with a family history of political activism against the Islamic Republic.
