Zoho’s Arattai app saw explosive growth, jumping from 3,000 to 350,000 sign-ups a day. But OkCredit CEO Harsh Pokharna calls it a PR move, not innovation. He says Arattai is just a WhatsApp copy riding the “Made in India” wave, a marketing win for Zoho, not a product revolution. “Patriotism can’t beat product-market fit”, he added.
