The Indian Army's aviation wing on Thursday rescued two South Korean nationals stranded at over 17,000 feet near Ladakh's Kongmaru La Pass. The duo was on a mountaineering expedition, where they fell critically ill. The helicopter was made to land at an unprepared site using Night Vision Goggles (NVG). The mountaineers were handed over to medical authorities.
