Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi explained why Operation Sindoor wasn't a conventional operation, but like playing chess, as "we didn't know" enemy's next move. "Conventional operation means, go with everything, take everything you have. And, if you're able to come back, otherwise, stay there. That's called conventional approach," he said. "This was just short of conventional mission," he added.
