The Indian Army's Tiger Division on Wednesday felicitated Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Sharak Dev Singh Jamwal (Retired) on his 100th birthday. Born on August 13, 1926, in Jammu, Lt Col Jamwal was commissioned into the 7th Light Cavalry in 1946 during the final phase of the Second World War. His career spanned multiple major operations, including the 1947–48 India-Pakistan War.
