Dinesh Joshi, an Army officer posted in Jammu & Kashmir, returned home to the worst news his 14-month-old son, Shivansh, had died after being denied urgent care across five hospitals in Uttarakhand. His wife, who traveled alone with the sick child, said, “He was alive when we left Gwaldam. Every hospital turned us away.”
