Former MP and senior Congress leader Colonel Sonaram Choudhary passed away in Delhi on Wednesday at the age of 80. A former Army officer, Choudhary represented the Barmer-Jaisalmer Lok Sabha constituency four times and also served as an MLA in the Rajasthan Assembly. Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma and former CM Ashok Gehlot termed his demise "extremely saddening".
