Hyderabad Cricket Association President A Jagan Mohan Rao, who was arrested for alleged misappropriation of funds, embezzled ₹1.03 crore by claiming the amount was being spent on 1,340 cricket balls, the FIR said. Similarly, ₹11.85 lakh was allegedly showed as being spent on new air conditioners and ₹21.7 lakh was swindled under the guise of purchasing plumbing material for IPL.
