Union Minister G Kishan Reddy laid the foundation stone for Arunachal Pradesh’s first commercial coal mine at Namchik–Namphuk in Changlang. The project, with 1.5 crore tonnes of reserves, is expected to generate ₹100 crore annually and create jobs, marking a new phase of regulated mining in the state.
