Tired of waiting for help, villagers in Chatong, Arunachal Pradesh, built a wooden bridge themselves. Over 100 people from four villages joined hands, contributing money and labour. The area lacked proper roads, especially during monsoons. The bridge will ease travel for around 500 households, improving access to healthcare, education, and markets after years of government inaction.
