Ex-India all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin pulled out of ILT20 auction after going unsold in the first round. Ashwin had entered auction with highest base price of $120,000 (₹1.06 crore) among all the players. During the live broadcast of the auction, Simon Doull called Ashwin's decision to pull out a "massive surprise", adding that he might have been bought in accelerated round.
