All-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin, who retired from IPL today, recorded the first-ever 'mankad' dismissal in IPL in 2019. While captaining PBKS, he 'mankaded' then RR opener Jos Buttler while he was about to deliver fifth ball of his fourth over. 'Mankad' is a rare form of dismissal wherein a bowler runs out non-striker as he leaves crease before ball is delivered.
