Assam will receive ₹12 crore under the India-AI Mission to develop AI datasets capturing its linguistic, cultural, and demographic diversity. Five AI data labs will be set up in technical institutes to boost innovation, governance, and AI education, following the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY)’s approval in Delhi. Data will comply with AI-cell standards for ethical use.
