A retired principal was detained by Assam Police for allegedly posting a social media comment linking the Red Fort car blast in Delhi to politics. After the blast, he reportedly wrote, "Election is coming." Police said the man appeared to be giving the incident "a political angle". At least 12 people were killed in the explosion and many were injured.
