Kaziranga National Park Director Dr Sonali Ghosh has become the first Indian to win the IUCN Kenton Miller Award for Innovation in Protected Area Management. Honoured at the World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi, she was recognised for blending community participation with modern conservation practices in Kaziranga and Manas.
