Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said the state government has written to Home Ministry to invoke Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) with Singapore over the death of singer Zubeen Garg. "Once invoked, this will ensure full cooperation from Singaporean authorities," he stated. Notably, Zubeen died on September 19 in Singapore after a scuba diving accident.
