Astronomers have discovered exoplanet TOI-3884, whose orbit is tilted by an unusual 62 degrees relative to its star's rotation, without any massive neighbouring planets or companion stars to explain it. Using starspot transits and months of brightness tracking, researchers mapped the system and confirmed the extreme misalignment, making it one of the most intriguing planetary systems known.
