Chandan Maurya, one of the abducted Hindu youths in the Bahraich assault case, alleged the attackers ran an Instagram group named “Baba Guruup” using fake Hindu identities to trap Hindu girls via WhatsApp. He claimed he informed police earlier, but they deleted evidence from his phone. The allegations are now under formal investigation.
