BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya denied West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's claim that the Delhi Police described Bengali as Bangladeshi in their letter. "Nowhere in the Delhi Police letter is Bangla or Bengali described as a 'Bangladeshi' language," Malviya wrote on X and accused Banerjee of inciting linguistic conflict, after she called upon Bengalis to protest against the Centre.
