Australia Under-19 World Cup-winning captain, Hugh Weibgen, struck his maiden professional century to help Queensland beat Western Australia in the One-Day Cup. Weibgen's unbeaten 115 helped Queensland recover from 38-4 to chase 322, their second-highest ever in List A cricket. His T20 debut came in January, for BBL 2024-25 champions Sydney Thunder. He is yet to play first-class cricket.
