Australia head coach Andrew McDonald dismissed the English batting as totally predictable after his team handed them an eight-wicket defeat at Perth after being on the back-foot throughout the first three innings of the Test. "What I will say about the English batting is we weren't surprised at the way they went about it. It was probably predictable," he said.
