Authors Grady Hendrix and Jennifer Roberson sued Apple on Friday, accusing the tech giant of using copyrighted books to train its AI systems without consent, credit or compensation. According to the lawsuit, "Apple has not attempted to pay...for their contributions to this potentially lucrative venture." Earlier, Microsoft, Meta Platforms and Microsoft-backed OpenAI faced similar lawsuits.
