Regional Transport Authority has hiked the auto rickshaw fares in Bengaluru from August 1, with the minimum fare to be ₹36 for first 2 km up from ₹30. The fare has been revised from ₹15 to ₹18 for every additional kilometre. Waiting charge would be free for first five minutes, after which ₹10 would be charged for every 15 minutes.
