China urged Philippines to uphold one-China principle and avoid "playing with fire" on issues concerning China's core interests. This comes after Filipino President Ferdinand Marcos Jr recently said Philippines can't stay out if Taiwan conflict breaks out. "Geographical proximity, large overseas populations aren't excuses for a country to interfere in the internal affairs of others," China said.
