Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei could face a similar fate to Iraq's Saddam Hussein. "Remember what happened to the dictator in the neighbouring country of Iran who took this path against Israel," Katz said. US-led forces toppled Saddam Hussein's regime in 2003. US had accused Iraq of having weapons of mass destruction.
