Bangladesh's garment exporters can face losses upto $1 billion after a massive fire at Dhaka's international airport, Faisal Samad, director of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association said. The fire erupted at the airport's cargo import section which destroyed imported raw materials and critical product samples. "These samples are needed to attract new buyers" an official said.
