Bangladesh's interim government, led by chief adviser Muhammad Yunus, is planning to bar Sheikh Hasina's Awami League from participating in upcoming elections. The party will face legal and administrative barriers, special assistant Mahfuj Alam said. Ten political parties have demanded Awami League's exclusion, citing claims of illegal participation in previous elections, The Daily Star reported.
