Awami League's student wing has said that Bangladesh's interim government led by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus is promoting relations with Pakistan's intelligence agencies. "They're legitimising actors who once committed genocide on our soil," the Bangladesh Student League said. Yunus-led interim government had earlier banned ex-PM Sheikh Hasina's Awami League under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
