Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar reacted after Opposition accused the state government of sidelining homegrown brand Nandini while allowing Amul to open kiosks at Bengaluru Metro stations. "Metro issued a global tender, but initially, no one applied. Amul later expressed interest," he said. "Our own KMF (Nandini) hadn’t applied," he stated, adding that eight kiosks would be allocated to Nandini.
