Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar said pothole-filling work in Bengaluru is “progressing swiftly.” He said that work of asphalting roads is being prioritised to ensure smooth traffic flow. His remarks came after the Individual Tax Payers Forum urged the state government to stop the Greater Bengaluru Authority from collecting property tax if they were not provided with "good public infrastructure".
