The Supreme Court refused to entertain an appeal filed by a group of doctors challenging their transfers out of Bengaluru. The bench noted that the cosmopolitan life of Bengaluru is very alluring, but the rest of Karnataka is also developed. "You are a privileged class...If you oppose the transfer, what will happen to others?" the bench asked the petitioners.
