A 44-year-old woman from Bengaluru has recovered the full amount she lost in digital arrest scam. She received WhatsApp call from fraudsters and she transferred ₹14 lakh, after which she approached police. The police then froze funds within 'golden hour'. 'Golden hour' refers to the critical time after scammer has initiated fraudulent transaction, but before money has been fully moved.
