Babar Azam resigned as Pakistan white-ball captain recently because of Pakistan head coach Gary Kirsten's leaked report to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that blamed him for T20 World Cup 2024 debacle, as per a report. Pakistan were knocked out of the tournament in group stage. The report further stated that Babar was not happy that he was being "solely blamed".
