According to a study published in Journal of The Royal Society Interface, cry of a distressed baby triggers rapid emotional response in both men and women, making them physically hotter. Thermal imaging showed participants experienced blood rush to face, raising skin temperature, when played recordings of babies crying. The effect was stronger when babies were more distressed, the study said.
