Baidu (BIDU) announced plans to expand its autonomous vehicle fleet in Abu Dhabi after securing the city’s first fully driverless commercial permits with local partner AutoGo. The companies signed a next-phase deal to scale the Apollo Go robotaxi fleet to hundreds of vehicles by 2026, marking a major milestone in Baidu’s push toward global autonomous mobility.
