Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) has recommended a five to ten-year ban on Minhazul Abedin Sabbir for suspected match-fixing in Dhaka Premier League. An ACU report, following his controversial dismissals, alleged that Sabbir had been in contact with suspected bookmakers and failed to disclose approaches, thereby breaching multiple clauses of BCB's Anti-Corruption Code.
