The Bangladesh army has tightened security at Dhaka Cantonment ahead of the trial of 14 senior officers charged with enforced disappearances, torture, and secret detention. A VSOQ building is being secured with concertina wire as it’s turned into a sub-jail and tribunal site, aiming to ensure legal accountability while preserving the Army’s institutional image.
