On Dhanteras, 14 married Banjaran women (18–25) from Berwai, Uttar Pradesh, and Roopangarh, Rajasthan, started small businesses after studying at Manthan Women’s Night School. Supported by Manthan Sanstha with materials and guidance, they launched ventures like tailoring and spice-making—moving toward self-reliance, dignity, and independence through education and entrepreneurship.
