According to the latest developments, German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has resolved the issues with Barcelona and agreed to sign the medical authorisation after which the club immediately returned the captaincy to him. It will allow Barca to register his injury as a long term one so that the club could temporarily reduce his wages under the salary cap rules.
